Another flashback wedding that deserves a spot on the blog. Eloise and Grant’s Summergrove Estate Wedding. Looking at the invite it doesn’t feel like this was nearly five years ago! How time has flown! My memory of the day is still crystal clear though!
This Shire duo opted to have their wedding up north in the Tweed Coast Hinterland, and seriously, wow! This was my first time away from the beaches of Byron and holy moly is was stunning! Summergrove Estate sits up in the mountains and has incredible views where ever you look.
The ceremony was held at the on site chapel that has a huge glass wall that looks out over the sprawling mountains and lush greenery, the perfect backdrop for some ‘I Do’s’. After the ceremony and a few cuddles and bubbles, it was off for some adventure time around the venue. This venue did not disappoint either which such a variety of spots for snaps. I won’t lie though, the highlight may have been some golf cart racing with Eloise and Grant on the way to a few spots.
The reception kicked off in the most beautiful barn that, like the chapel, looked out over paradise! The speeches were an amazing, as the father of the bride, the best man, and the maid of honour shared their heartfelt and humorous stories about the couple. Eloise and Grant also thanked their guests for making the effort to come on their adventure and there may of been a tear or two shed as well.
If you want to know how the reception finished up, just take a look at the photos. Dancing, dancing and more dancing. The worm was getting thrown down, the DJ was dancing on tables, and the father of the bride was blasting the mic by the end of the night. Oh man this was a good day!
