Fullerton Farm Wedding – Brendan and Kait

Brendan and Kait’s incredible farm wedding was held on Brendan’s family farm, Fullerton Station just ouside the tiny country town of Laggan, a few hours from Sydney. Driving into the property you are greeted with rolling hills, cows and just stunning scenery all round. Tucked away in the middle of the property is the beautiful homestead that was once own by the Jack and Dorothy Bushell (Bushells tea). The couple decided though they wanted to have the reception outside so they got themselves a giant marquee that was decorated perfectly for the rustic, farm style wedding, and would be home to some of the chaos and hilarity that would unfold later in the night.

The gents were busy running around the house getting final bits done, getting the smoker and open fire bbq sorted and then we realised the time and thought better get dressed. With a few tins going down and some laughs (mostly at Brendan’s expensve), the gents were suited up and looking sharp.

The ladies got all dolled up at the cute Laggan Church that has been refurbished to guest accommodation. This church was beautiful, it still had the original charm of the church with beautiful stone, glass and timber, so it was the perfect spot for Kait to get ready. Not to mention it looked great in photos. No surprise with this group of girls, there was no stress or fuss, just smooth sailing and lots of smiles. The girls were all looking amazing and it was time to head to the farm to get married.

To make this property even more perfect for a wedding, at the start of the very long driveway there is a church! So of course, this is where the ceremony took place with the church packed to the rafters with guests, so much so that some had to watch from outside as there wasn’t enough room!

Once the ceremony was done and family photos ticked off, it was time to explore the farm and get some incredible photos. We hiked up some hills, climbed a few rocks, navigated a river or two and even explored a few old shearing sheds. Seriously I could have spent a day exploring and shooting here. Not only was the backdrop for every photo amazing, the couple were pretty darn special as well. One of the many benefits of having a farm wedding is you are normally spoilt with incredible places for photos.

Back to the reception under the marquee and it was time to really kick things off. Speeches began, the champagne fountain was a bit of a champagne smash. The glasses from the top layer taking a tumble and taking out a large number of them underneath which I won’t lie was hilarious, Brendan and Kait thought so too. The food from Get in the Q was mouth-watering! Tasty salads, veggies and smoked meat to die for! My mouth is watering thinking about it now! The White Tree band did what it doesn’t best and absolutely killed it with banging tunes and of course their famous dress up antics during their performance.

Seriously this was just a fun-filled epic party of a wedding! I love a good farm wedding they are always so much fun! I wish we could do it all again!
