After hanging out with this duo a few months prior to their wedding, I knew that their Collits Inn Wedding was going to be amazing, and it sure didn’t disappoint. A day filled with lots of smiles and laughter and a lot of tears as well.
The girls got ready in the cute cottage on the grounds and were incredibly chilled out the whole morning. Lots of smiles, a few bubbles and they even got on the tools and hammered in some of the signage around the grounds.
The guys were just down the road and their morning followed much the same route. Some fish and chips, a couple of cheeky glasses of whisky and a few games of pool.
As soon as I walked into the church for the ceremony I had a feeling this was going to be a beautiful and emotional wedding. Ben was standing up the front with a look of excitement on his face but I could tell there were a few tears hiding as well, and it didn’t take long for them to make an appearance. As soon as Laura entered the church the tears start flowing, and it wasn’t just from Ben, there weren’t many dry eyes in the church. The ceremony was heartfelt and the tears flowed through the whole ceremony, it was definitely one to remember.
This was my first time photographing a Collits Inn wedding so I was new to the venue and all I can say is wow, what a venue. It has the most beautiful grounds, a charming rustic feel and is surrounded by incredible landscape. So it’s safe to say we didn’t need to go anywhere else for their photos. I could of shot around here for hours as there is just so much to chose from, and we gave it a good nudge. We explored as much of the grounds and the surrounding paddocks as we could before the sun went to bed for the night.
The rest of the night followed much the same pattern as the day and was just a big celebration of these two lovers tying the knot. An awesome day and night celebrating this awesome couple.
