Oh yeah another Collits Inn Hartley Vale Wedding, they never disappoint! This time it was another of the Moore clan to get married and I knew it would be a good day! I absolutely love this venue and to be able to capture Anna and Leo’s big day here was something worth getting excited about. And not to mention from previous Moore weddings, they don’t mind to have a but of fun!
They day started with a quick stop at Collits Inn to check in on Anna and her bridesmaids as they got ready in the adorable cottage on site. I love this cottage, it has so much charm and has a floor plan that resembles a bit of a maze, it’s awesome! Anna was chill as could be! Laughing and smiling and chasing after her little boy (who made the cutest ring bearer ever!). The girls popped some bubbles, sat around chatting and laughing outside until it was time to get the dress on. What a dress it was! Anna looked amazing and pretty sure there were a few tears when the girls and dad saw her.
I thought things couldn’t get much more chilled than the girls, but Leo proved me wrong. The boys were playing some pool, drinking a few cold ones and listening to tunes and having a little dance around. It was probably a good thing I was there as it was nearly go time and they weren’t dressed. Quick as though the boys were suited up and looking fresh and it was nearly go time for Leo to see his soon to be wife!
There ceremony was held at the super cute St Bernards church and was packed to the rafters with friends and family. It didn’t take long for the tears to start flowing as Leo saw his bride walk down the aisle. The ceremony had it all, tears, smiles, laughs and a lot of emotion.
After a million hugs and kisses after the ceremony it was back to Collits Inn to explore the amazing grounds and get snap happy. And snap happy we got. This crew was amazing. So much fun, lots of banter and just a heck of a lot of big smiles.
Something about Collits Inn that i love, its the incredible amount of spots for photos. You have fields, mountain backdrops, a dam, horses, old rusty buildings and historic cottages…seriously what else can you ask for?
Just before the ceremony was about to start I asked the couple should we grab a couple of sunset shots and they were on board as the sunset was looking magical. So we jumped int he car drove down the road to a nice straight, empty road and got a few shots there and headed back. When we arrived back, the sky was still stunning so we ran out into the field and got some more! Safe to say these are my favourite photos of the day!
Reception was a hoot! Some really great, fun and heartfelt speeches followed up with some epic food. Then the dance floor kicked off into full swing from the get go.
I could go on about Leo and Anna’s wedding for ages. A young couple so incredibly in love (who also happened to be very photogenic), an amazing crew and one of my favourite all time venues. This was a winner!
