What better way to spend a Thursday than at a Seacliff House Wedding in beautiful Gerringong. When I caught up with Sarah and Steven, they told me they wanted their day to just be a load of fun. With an awesome venue, a sweet couple and a bunch of awesome people, I knew it was going to be a great day.
The guys got ready in true ‘guy’ style. Relaxed, giving each other a bit of stick and enjoying a few cold ones at the epic Soul of Gerringong, on the NSW South Coast. There was some serious banter going on between the guys and before we knew it, they were all suited up, looking handsome and ready to head off to get Steven married.
Things weren’t much different with the girls, except the girls were a bit nicer to Sarah than the guys were to Steven. The girls enjoyed some nibbles and bubbles while getting their hair and make up done and just like the guys, it felt like no time had passed and it was go time.
One thing about a Seacliff House wedding ceremony is the backdrop, it’s absolutely beautiful. Rolling green hills with the ocean off in the distance, the perfect place to get married. Sarah being a property stylist meant this was always going to look amazing, and it did. Perfect choice of flowers, a triangular arbor and a gelato bike which would make an appearance later on, just to name a few of the details.
The ceremony was light hearted, full of laughs and I think I may of spotted a few tears and finished off with one heck of a petal toss as the newly married couple left.
We decided to go for a bit of an adventure around Gerringong for bridal photos. First stop was back to Soul of Gerringong to make the most of the epic property. Next was a random street amongst some nearby farmlands. And we couldn’t finish off anywhere other than back at Seacliff House, where you are spoilt for choice with so many amazing photo spots.
The reception was brilliant fun. Some sweet tunes throughout the night, some amazing speeches, and even a little auction for some personalised calendars of the happy couple. Throw in some amazing food and some extra tasty gelato and you can see why these two absolutely nailed their wedding.
