I met these two one afternoon when we went for a little adventure in the Royal National Park to take some engagement photos. They claimed to be awkward in front of the camera and wanted to get some practice in before their big day. Awkward they weren’t. So when the day for their wedding at Mali Brae farm came around, I was slightly excited!
No surprise the day started of super chilled and calm. The girls got all dolled up in a house not far from the venue, and the vibe was perfect, chilled and relaxed. The boys just up the road were no different, enjoying a few beers and laughs while getting suited up ready for the big moment.
If you don’t know already, I am a huge fan of Mali Brae Farm. Shelley and Greg run a brilliant venue that I am always pumped to shoot at. The grounds are stunning and you are spoilt for choice of spots for photos, and you couldn’t meet a more accommodating pair to make sure everything runs smoothly. The ceremony took place under a pair of gum trees with a beautiful background and was full of emotion and smiles.
No matter how long you wander the grounds of Mali Brae, you never have enough time to photograph all the spots you want. There are just so many incredible options. We gave it a good nudge though and explored a lot of the grounds and got some epic shots. To top of an already amazing day we got blessed with an amazing sunset to finish of the session.
The rest of the night went just like the day, amazing. Lots of laughs during the speeches, delicious food and a dance floor that went on long into the night.
